Model Maker, Author and Photographer
Tony is one of the most prolific authors, photographers and
model makers in the hobby of railway modelling.
As a key member of the editorial
team at
British Railway Modelling magazine,
he is often to be found at major exhibitions across the United
Kingdom.
His knowledge of British Railway history in general, and
locomotives in particular, is vast.
His ability to explain and demonstrate his model-making skills
has its roots in his early life as a teacher.
Tony has a warm personable approach
to the camera and a wry sense of humour.
Watching him is like sitting with a friend as he describes
the complexities of putting together valve gear or covers
himself in paint whilst spray-painting a locomotive tender.
