The introduction of DCC has made huge improvements in the way layouts are controlled. As well as giving "cab" control to locomotives, it enhances lighting and removes the need for isolated sections.

A NEW SERIES PLANNED FOR LATER THIS YEAR
We are planning a new series of DVDs looking in depth at particular model railway layouts.
Some of the layouts will be well known from the exhibitions circuit.
Many others will be privately owned top-range layouts which you will not have seen in action before.
The first in the series will feature Tony Wright and the Wolverhampton MRC's "Stoke Summit" and is planned for release later this year.
Others to be included in the series are Pete Waterman's "Leamington" in O gauge and the MRC's "Copenhagen Fields"in 2mm
